Walking Pneumonia-eeek

Well since my BIL has been in the hospital I have been very cautious. My immunity to bacteria is low. The nurses are concerned for him as well as they are constantly checking his airways etc.
I have had pneumonia once in my life and I still remember it vividly. I was a
Pre-teen and I remember becoming very ill. My mom finally took me into the doctor where I remember seeing the X-ray images of my chest and there was large webbing in one of my lungs. It seemed forever in bed sleeping feverish coughing and horrible nightmares. Something I never want to go through again.
How to avoid it…stay rested (even when taking care of others in need), keep your hands washed or even hand sanitized with you in your purse or glove box. Drink plenty of fluids.
Homeopathic care if you are diagnosed with viral walking pneumonia. REST, FLUIDS, REST, Vitamin C, Echinacia, Green Tea with Lemon or Ginger, Garlic, Onions, acidophelphous, Fish Oil, Daily Multi Vitamin and oh did I mention REST???
Stay down for recommended amount of time or until/if antibiotics are given kick in so you do not infect others. Avoid close spaces or crowds of people. This can take four to six weeks to recover from so be wise in your care.
It is something I never want to experience again and so many around me are sick right now BeCareful!!!!
I would never say I told you so…for some that don’t always take my somewhat nagging advice but I do want to say get well and REST!!!
