College Time-family goodbyes

Tonight I got to work at the restaurant. I was helping as they were short handed. There was a large symphony tonight along with “move-in” day for the college students.
One of the tables I helped was so amazing. It was the son going to college with his girlfriend, his mom, and his grandparents. They were so proud of him. They were so wonderfully sitting there enjoying their meal and giving him thoughtful advice. It made me smile and I so wanted to just sit down and take their picture.
They were all from California and never had been to Oregon before. So I made a few recommendations before they left for the evening.
You know when you witness something that is so special and it makes your heart soar. This was that for me today.
