Wind blown N Happy

My adventure started two days ago when I was invited to hike up To Huckleberry Fire Lookout, Gold Lake all by Jeep!!

Started before the sun was up by packing a nice lunch and making sure lots of water was packed. Thankfully I packed sweatshirt as the morning air was brisk flowing into the jeep.

A beautiful drive through West Fir and High Prairie and then we were on an unpaved road up and up. The gate was locked so we locked up valuables in special case, and started trek up the mountain to the fire look out.

What a View!! I felt as if I was on top of the world. Maybe for a brief moment I was as I was looking down on trees, hills, roads and in the distance Mt Bachelor, Three Sisters, Diamond Peak, and many more I cannot list in my mind currently.

The fire lookout person for the day, Kathy showed us into her small space and explained all the instruments she has to use in case of a forest fire. It was so amazing.
