Last night after East Coast Swing class, we drove home and I was surprised with a dinner that I would not have ever expected eating.
First started with an amazing bottle of Sparkling wine and soft white bread with lump fish caviar. I have only tried caviar once and that was on a cruise I took long ago. I am not sure it was my favorite, but it paired so well with the sparkling wine.
Then main course escargot sautéed with, sweet onions, garlic and prosciutto dry red wine was added and then simmered down for about 30 minutes made the most elegant taste in your mouth. The flavors so bold and melted right in your mouth. A little bit of ciabatta roll to dip up the juicy goodness. mmmmm
