What does Family mean?

According to Dictionary.com

This to me is a generic translation of family. But maybe generic is how people view family.

My definition of family are those who are your flesh and blood and those who are not but have incorporated in your life through other means whether it is relationship, adoption and many other various ways.

One example is my bosses – I have been an employee for over 27 years, but I view them beyond my employer and I am certain they view me beyond an employee.

My feeling is to embrace them all- blood or not, perfect or not, flaws and all.

Love and kindness will be the greatest gift you can give your Family this Christmas.
