South Point

The Southern most tip of the United States.  The ocean is so clear, but it is also so windy here, it was hard to  stand at the edge of the cliff without feeling like you may be blown into the water.  Not to worry though, there was a ladder you could swim to and climb to get yourself out.  NO THANKS!

There were quite a few people fishing from this point and what I found so strange was they would tie garbage bags to their line and cast them out.  I wasn’t sure what the purpose of this was and I didn’t want to disturb them by asking.

In one of the photos, there is a turtle swimming under the water, you can’t see it as well as with the photo, but it was cool to be able to see.
