Easter Sunday

I never imagined I would be moving stepmother into a nursing home. Her PSP has severely effected sight, balance, continence. She broke her shoulder about 4 weeks ago and that was the final straw on my fathers ability to care for her.

Dad and I spent the last many many weeks visiting, assessing, applying for facility for her and also, my father will move out of his current residence into a less costly residence.

I know dad feels a bit sad about moving her there, as I am sure it would be hard for most who have a significant other they love.

I have said many many prayers, curse words, feeling anger well up inside because I cannot get my sister to help.

I am glad I can do something for dad- he introduces me as his Vice President. 😃❤️

Sounds really difficult. Do you like her? Your stepmother?

Honestly Cindy, she is not a kind person. When my father married her almost 20 years ago, I didn’t know her- but she has never been a kind person I think that her diagnosis makes her even more unsavory, but I feel badly for her and my father.
