CONSERVATION PROJECT

The Cascade Fly Fishing Club has been involved in restoring the Delta Ponds for about 2 years now. I volunteered to help out with the first outing this year.

It was hard work, but fun to meet new people and get to know the people in my club as well as restoring what has been an ugly area for a long time.

We dug up weeds, and planted new trees and bushes that are native for this area. After we were finished we mulched and then enjoyed a cup of coffee.

Here is a copy of the newsletter that had some pictures of the project we worked on. I was hoping to only place a few pages of the newsletter in, but was unsure how to do that.

That great they are such an active group. No wonder the meetings take so long 🙂
